BCR-S Mini G2

A BCR-S Mini G2 card reader is included in the Integra access system for contactless card reading.
The card reader is generally mounted in a door environment with the S-Node G2 door control unit in a parted assembly. The lightweight format is easy to place for the ultimate user experience.

The BCR-S Mini G2 is equipped with convenient light stripe status indicators and an internal buzzer. The card reader is mounted in a sturdy tamper-proof case, with an RS-485 interface.

The card reader is used for contactless access card reading within a 3 cm range, status indicators for the door environment and audible warnings for a user-friendly interface.

The contactless reader uses technology in the 13.56 MHz frequency range. The BCR-SD G2 reader is customized for reading MIFARE smartcard according to NXP and ISO 144443A. The Integra access control system fully supports MIFARE® sector reading, MAD1 and MAD2 for MIFARE® Classic, MIFARE Plus® S, X and MIFARE® DESFire® EV1 and EV2.

BCR-S Mini G2 – an important cog in a secure solution

The BCR-S Mini G2 is part of the Integra platform and can be combined with BCR-SD G2 in installations for cost efficiency and solutions where the display interface and/or keypad is not required.

Depending on the market, the use of PIN in a two-factor authentication process may not be widely employed or there may be no requirement for PIN on interior doors. The BCR-S Mini G2 access control reader may there be an attracticve option. One example is using the BCR-S Mini G2 for controlling access to gates or turnstiles.
