BCR-SD G2
A BCR-SD G2 card reader is included in the Integra access system for contactless card reading. The BCR-SD G2 has a keypad for usage in access control environments that require higher security by addition of a PIN. The card reader is generally mounted in a door environment with the S-Node G2 door control unit in a parted assembly. The lightweight format is easy to place for the ultimate user experience.
BCR-SD G2 – a variety of functions in one card reader
A BCR-SD G2 card reader is included in the Integra access system for contactless card reading. The BCR-SD G2 has a keypad for usage in access control environments that require higher security by addition of a PIN. The card reader is generally mounted in a door environment with the S-Node G2 door control unit in a parted assembly. The lightweight format is easy to place for the ultimate user experience.
The BCR-SD G2 is equipped with a convenient colour display for icons and text for easy operation, a clearly visible keypad with tactile feedback, light stripe status indicators and an internal buzzer. The card reader is mounted in a sturdy tamper-proofe case, with an RS-485 interface.
In addition to access systems, the product is certified for intruder alarm systems as per SSF 1014 issue 5, EN 50131-3:2009, Security grade 3, Environmental class II.
For optimal ease of use and protection of the card reader, there are several specially designed accessories such as mounting brackets, weather hoods and mounting frames.
Accessories
To the BCR-SD G2 card reader, we have a range of accessories.
- Installation angle in 15 & 30 degrees is used when the card reader needs to be mounted on a lower level for easy access by all users
- Mounting frame is recommended if the mounting surface is uneven. The mounting frame can also be used as a distance for external mounting
- Vandal protection is a frame that redirects and absorbs power from side and front blows and protects the reader. We have vandal protection frames with or without display protection.
- Installation plate for vandal protection is used when the card reader is mounted on an uneven wall or on a metal surface.
- Weather hood is used when the card reader is installed outdoors and exposed to rain, or in harsh environments indoor, We have two different weather hoods, plexi glass or aluminium.
