PassGate with Digital Access Cards Now Live at Bravida’s Headquarters
At Bravida’s headquarters in Stockholm, home to approximately 300 employees, digital access cards are now being used directly on smartphones. By implementing PassGate, Bravida has created a more seamless access experience, with faster entry through doors, reduced reliance on physical cards, and a more convenient everyday experience for employees.
Bravida is one of the Nordic region’s leading providers of technical installation and service solutions. As part of its ongoing focus on innovation and workplace efficiency, the company continuously invests in solutions that simplify daily operations and improve the employee experience.
Moving from Physical Access Cards to Digital Credentials
For many years, the way we access our workplaces has remained largely unchanged. Physical access cards have been the standard, but as more services move into our smartphones, the demand for smarter and more convenient access solutions continues to grow.
With PassGate and digital access cards stored in the phone’s native wallet, users can use their smartphones as access credentials, simplifying everyday life while maintaining a high level of security. At Bravida’s headquarters in Stockholm, the solution is now fully operational, and early experiences indicate a smooth transition and positive feedback from employees.
A natural step toward the modern workplace
One of the key benefits of PassGate is that employees can use something they already carry with them at all times: their smartphone. The digital access card is stored in the phone’s wallet and used to pass through doors just like a traditional access card.
The implementation of PassGate at Bravida’s headquarters was completed without any major challenges.
“The implementation of PassGate worked very well. The rollout was smooth and well planned, and we received excellent support and clear communication throughout the entire onboarding phase,” says Office Manager Anna Eriksson.
To ensure an intuitive user experience, instructions and workflows were adapted to the organization’s needs, contributing to a seamless transition for employees.
Making everyday access easier
One of the biggest advantages of digital access cards is ease of use. Instead of carrying an additional card, credentials are already available on a device that most people always have within reach.
“Since most people always have their phone with them, access becomes simple and convenient. In addition, smartphone credentials are perceived as faster to read than traditional access cards,” says Anna Eriksson.
User feedback has primarily focused on the simplicity and convenience of day-to-day use.
Anna Eriksson continues:
“Many people appreciate that the phone is read faster than a traditional access card and that they only need to keep track of one device. It makes visits to the coffee machine or moving around the office quicker and more convenient.”
The future of access is already here
Digital access cards are about more than replacing a physical card. They are about creating a modern workplace where security, user experience, and flexibility go hand in hand.
The experience at Bravidas HQ demonstrates that the transition to mobile access can be both straightforward and well received. When the access card moves into the smartphone, workplace access becomes a natural part of an increasingly digital everyday life.
