How does Check In work?

Guards can handle the system from any reception or from a gated guard house. They can remotely check in visitors, open gates and monitor them using camera systems. Truck drivers can get help in their own language with the help of Check In. A module for language selection and translation is available to help you out by selecting the appropriate flag on the touch screen.

The Check In visitor management system can be connected to your Exchange account to make it easier to pre-book visitors from invitations in Outlook or Office 365.

Smart and effective check-in with QR codes

Visitors can open doors, gates and lifts with the QR code they receive. The codes determine which doors visitors can access and when. Truck drivers can open a gate or check in with the QR code they receive before the appointed check in. You can send the invitations by email or SMS to truck drivers and other visitors. In the invite, you can insert a URL to a form or a safety video that every visitor must confirm. This confirmation can also be done in the self-service kiosks by using a form in the kiosk interface that visitors fill in and confirm before getting their badge.

Visitors can check in with the QR code they received in the invitation. In the invitation, you can insert a URL with instructions, maps or any other information you want visitors to read before they arrive. A truck driver can check in and open a

gate with the personal QR code they receive in an SMS invitation. Visitors to office buildings can check in using a self-service kiosk that calls the host by IP telephony. Check In calls the host and a voice says who is visiting and gives instructions and options for what to do next. Press 1 for confirmation or 2 to speak with the visitor. Once the host confirms the visitor, a form can ask questions about GDPR consent or security. Once the questions are properly answered by the visitor a badge is printed from the self-service kiosk.

Flexible and secure

The self-service kiosk can be connected to a door, gate or an lift that opens as soon as the visitor has been approved by the host. The system can be configured to call the host or send an SMS notification. The Check In visitor management system is highly flexible and you decide how you want it to be configured and whether you want free standing kiosks, wall-mounted kiosks or a mini kiosk on a counter.
